I would like to announce our latest addition to the website, the UtahAirsoft.com Players Coalition (UAPC). This is a section of the site that players can apply for. There is no fee no cost, but a few guidelines that we ask you to follow to call yourself part of the coalition! If you agree to those and apply you will be allowed in the inner circle of UtahAirsoft.com planning and event management, as well as have a nice icon below your name and a special color for your name in the online list.

You will also get access to submit events and plan under the name of UtahAirsoft.com! With the forum benefits and the open invite to all our planning meetings to get your voice heard, how can you resist!

Follow the link below for more information, I'll be starting to review applications today and allowing people to join and giving you all access within the next few days. If you want to get involved in the community this is how, don't wait!

• The new main website has a news system. This will allow any member to get their news stories on our front page by simply submitting them! (Note: I may edit your story to correct spelling or grammar errors but other than that it's all up to you!)
  • These articles automatically post to our news an announcements forum. So you get a thread and an article in one swoop.
  • You can also add comments to articles, which post replies to the thread.
• The new forum updates have added icons to share topics, these are available in the new news system.
• The news system will be similar to the system we'll use for our reviews and teams listings. Those will slowly be changing over to the main website and just linked from the forums rather than having all the information in the forums.
• You can now add comments to peoples status.
• You can now sign in using twitter or link to twitter, if that's your flavor.
• The gallery system has been updated
• The other pages on the main website are not available at the moment, I'm in the process of building the navigation control but it isn't necessary for function at the moment.
• If you see any odd behavior don't report it, it's most likely because i'm editing the live site.

With these updates I'm going to be releasing our latest event information and BBQ announcements i wanted to make, over the next few days. This information is extremely important and will change the way that UtahAirsoft.com does its operations, community games, and everything.

I've been working hard to figure out ways to involve the player in what i do, I.E. planning big events and community game days as well as website stuff. We are going to be opening our Players Coalition, and this is exactly how you help UtahAirsoft.com in any way you can. The details will be coming within the next two days so check back soon.

We will be offering some ways for users to submit news to the front page, as well as a more formal teams listing (easier to edit your own team submissions) and a full reviews system.

These new additions will definitely improve users ability to find the information they are looking for with very little confusion!

While I'm working on the site I always like to hear the latest suggestions so if there's something bugging you, reply and I'll do my best to fit it in this next release of our main website.

(Note: During the main site revision, the forums will still remain active.)

There have already been vast improvements to the forum, so if you see something different feel free to experiment with it! For example you can share this topic on pretty much any community site using the icons at the bottom of the page. You can also comment on peoples status' to have conversations instead of changing your status. The Storyline

Since 2001 the United States Military has been battling terrorist groups on the Afghanistan and Pakistan border. After the brutal assault from one of the more powerful Warlords in Afghanistan last year, the US Forces found themselves spread thin and fighting many enemies. Over the past nine years the US and Soviet relations have also been interrupted, especially after the 2010 cold war era spy ring breakup on US Soil. Spy's on the ground in Afghanistan for the Soviets have managed to persuade many warlord's that they have the same interests in mind, and have even supplied them with weapons. With the new discovery of valuable minerals in Afghanistan and deteriorating relationships between the US and Soviets, the Soviets have developed a strategy to once again fight for this territory.

With the USFOR spread out too thin from all the fighting The Soviet Forces has decided to invade Afghanistan thinking the US will unable to stop it. Without an effective warning, Soviet Forces invade Afghanistan...
